Vipal expands its portfolio with the launch of the new VT290 tread

Vipal Rubber, a global leader in tyre retreading and repair, has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of the new VT290 tread. Developed specially for truck drive axles on highways and paved roads, the VT290 meets the demands of regional and long-distance transport operations.

Available in the sizes 240, 250, 260, 270 and 280 mm, the VT290 accommodates a range of tyre dimensions used in commercial transportation, offering versatility for retreaders, distributors, fleet owners, and truck drivers. Developed using Vipal technology, the tread features a design focused on traction and stability, enhancing grip in different driving conditions, both on dry and wet surfaces. Its performance also stands out in harsh conditions, including snow operations, reinforcing the solution’s versatility for the European market.
To ensure safety and operational compliance, the model has the M+S marking and 3PMSFcertification. The tread also features side sipes and grooves that contribute to self-cleaning and aid in the removal of snow and mud, promoting adherence on slippery surfaces. The tread design also promotes a balanced distribution of the torque transmitted by the engine, contributing to more even tread wear. The tie bars between the blocks increase the stability of the tread structure, providing greater control and safety during driving.
